We were fortunate to meet Maria through one of our friends when our son was just  a few months old. I was ready to go back to work fulltime but anxious about leaving  our little guy in someone else’s care.  Esther eased those fears with her warm smile,  tender heart, and genuine love for our son. It was clear, after just a few short weeks,  that she was a wonderful addition to our home and family.  
 

During those early days Esther was a huge help. She not only cared for our son, but  she worked with me to create sleep schedules, make baby food, do laundry, cook,  and gently guide me as I entered into this crazy new world of motherhood. She was  patient as I tried new methods and celebrated with us when we saw success. 
 

As our son grew, so did their bond. They have a very special relationship and I  honestly don’t see him belly laugh with other people in the same way I do with her.  They giggle, play, and smile all day long. He lights up when he sees her in the  morning and blows kisses to her as she walks out the door. Loving our son was our  number one requirement when looking for a nanny...and we got that in spades.  
 

Not only has Maria cared for our son but she, and her extended family, have helped  us in many other ways.  Her daughter babysits for us on weekends and evenings and  her sons have watched our dog and home when we travel out of town.  We feel lucky  to have them in our lives.
